Warning: Most women don’t know statins side effects. Some women may not know what statins are, am I right? Statins are cholesterol lowering drugs. You may have heard of Lipitor, Pravachol, or Simcor. Well, these are known as statins or if you don’t like medical jargon they’re cholesterol lowering drugs. When I was a pharmaceutical representative in early 2003, Lipitor and Pravachol were two of the biggest statins on the market before more of the drug companies jumped on board to get a piece of the profits…cholesterol lowering drugs are big business!
