Exercise for Flabby Arms: How To Get Arms to Die For
Boom! Pow! Thwapp! Those were the sound effects flashing across the screen during episodes of Batman in the 60’s. I was born about 10 years later but through the magic of reruns, I was able to see some episodes. I had to admit placing the sound effects on the screen was “hella” corny but there was something about the show that kept me watching. I wonder what it was? Could it have been the addition of Batgirl as the first female superhero? I had no idea as a kid the reason Batgirl was added to the Batman series was because America was going through a period where women were finally asking to be treated fairly in the workplace and wanted to be paid as equally as men. The producers of the show in my opinion were only trying to attract female viewers but I think they got a few brownie points from feminists too. Batman has nothing to do with my post today and neither does Batgirl. The word B-A-T does as in batwings. Do you know what I’m talking about? It’s that unsightly part of the underarm which jiggles after you’ve waved to someone. The batwing is the female’s nemesis which keeps her from wearing tank tops and sleeveless dresses. If you want to get scientific about it, the alias for the batwing is called the tricep or the muscle on the back of the arm. I get asked all the time about which exercises are best to tone the triceps so let’s get into some tips on the best exercise for flabby arms. How would you like to get rid of those batwings forever?
